A.s.d. Sueddane has spent several years in Austis promoting sport and physical activity for young people and adults. The goal is to bring people together, help everyone feel included and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Summer is our busiest time, when the pool inside the Sports Center opens: people come from Austis and all the nearby villages, and we run swimming courses, other water activities and evening entertainment.
If you are in Austis in the summer, a day at the pool can be just the thing to rest a little and spend time with your family.
In summer, the pool is where the village goes to relax and have fun. We are not exaggerating when we say that, for everyone here, the Sueddane Sports Center is a small corner of paradise where you can recharge on the hottest days.
There is no other pool nearby, so people from the neighboring villages often come too: people who want to unwind on a work break and do not have the time or the wish to drive to the coast. Every year we also run group activities and small swimming courses for the kids.
For the little ones The summer camp is back this year: sports, swimming courses, lots of activities and fun for the little ones.
New! For adults This summer's big news! The course is for anyone who wants to get over a fear of water, feel better in body and mind, and get back in shape. Exercises in the water alternate with training on the lawn.
Besides the restrooms, there are showers and places to change. Before stepping onto the pool deck, you need to disinfect your feet in the foot bath.
Beach chairs and umbrellas are free. For extra comfort, you can rent a sunbed for a few euros.
A large covered area with wooden tables where you can relax, have a snack or just get out of the sun.
A lawn with trees where you can relax in the shade, surrounded by greenery.
An area with games for children and lots of activities for the whole family, so your day at the pool stays fun.
Our beach volleyball court is perfect for challenging your friends, training or playing a game together in the sun before jumping in the pool.
In summer (June to September) the pool is open every day from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Hours may change depending on the weather.

The pool is 25 x 12.5 meters and regulation size for competitions (25 m). The shallow end is about 1.50 m deep, and there is a 3-meter deep area with a diving board.
Yes, a certified lifeguard is always on duty to keep everyone safe. Please note that the lifeguard takes a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
We serve great sandwiches filled with cold cuts, cheese, tomato and more. If you prefer, you are also welcome to bring your own packed lunch and eat it in our refreshment area.
